MARATHON, ON – The Marathon Family Health Team is pleased to announce the recruitment of Dr. Ryan Patchett-Marble to Marathon!
Dr. Ryan Patchett-Marble was born and raised in Smith Falls, Ontario. He obtained his medical degree from University of Toronto and will be graduating from the Northern Ontario School of Medicine in Thunder Bay on July 1, 2013. Ryan was very active within the community during his Residency with Marathon as can be seen in the photos included below. Ryan stated that the physician group and support team within the clinic and hospital, numerous recreational activities, as well as the welcome he received from within the community were his main reasons for selecting Marathon as the place to establish his full time practice.
We look forward to welcoming Dr. Patchett-Marble in July!
Many thanks to citizens within the community, Marathon Physician Recruitment and Retention Committee, Town of Marathon, corporate support (Barrick Gold), and Wilson Memorial General Hospital for their continued support during the recruitment process. A special thank you to the physicians at the Marathon Family Health Team who continue to support the recruitment and addition of new physicians to their group!
