MANITOUWADGE, ON – Saturday, February 16th Nite on the Town Entertainment welcomed musicians from Marathon, Pic River and Manitouwadge to the high school auditorium for an evening of varied acoustic performances.
From novice local performer Gunnar Nelson, who made his stage debut alongside his more experienced bandmates Brighton Lal and Damilola Bodunde accompanying the strong, sensual vocals of Natalie Labbée to seasoned performers like headliners Wooley and the Mammoths from Marathon there was music from every genre and for all tastes shared during the 3 hr evening.

To attempt describing the performances would certainly fall short of doing them justice however OntarioNewsNorth.com offers those who were not able to attend a taste of what was missed in the videos below. The equipment used to record is intended for interviews and news reports, not for recording musical performances however it does offer a glimpse into the performances enjoyed Saturday evening. Unfortunately, though a sincere attempt was made to capture a few songs from each duo or group, the final performances, by Wooley and the Mammoths could not be recorded, just another reminder that if you aren’t in attendance at the NOTES shows, you are most certainly missing out!
Organizer Natalie Labbée thanked all those who gave their time to perform in the fundraising evening which helps ensure Nite on the Town can continue to offer Manitouwadge and area residents the opportunity to enjoy performances by many of Canada’s most talented musical, comedic and theatrical performers.
