Sunday is our annual loppet. A loppet is a mass start participation event for all abilities and ages etc. You can make it as competitive as you like, or you can make it a personal challenge to make the distance. The event will be starting with the bunnies and jackrabbits and track attack kids at 1:00. The snowshoers will start at 1:00 as well. They will do a 10km walk starting with the green lit trail then heading out onto the entire snowshoe trails, ending back at the chalet finish line. Skiers in the 10 or 20km ski events will begin at 2:00pm (as soon as the Jackrabbits are done). With snow conditions the way they are (limited depth)we may have to stick to the Jackrabbit (green) trail only and if so, the distances will be 14km or 21km (2 or 3 laps). Come out and have some fun in a a relaxed group event for all.If you do not wish to participate as a skier, we need a few volunteers to help with timing. Call kim at 229-1538 or by reply email.
