Manitouwadge Mourns Lawrence (Bud) Everatt
Mr. Lawrence (Bud) Edward Everatt, age 77 years, long time resident of Manitouwadge passed away peacefully in Manitouwadge General Hospital on Saturday, January 5, 2013.
Lawrence was born on November 9, 1935 in Ashern, Manitoba to Robert and Christianne Everatt. He spent his career as a miner, retiring in 1994.
Lawrence is survived by his children Brad Everatt of Sioux Lookout, Glenn Everatt and wife Linda of Marathon, Kevin Everatt and wife Jennifer of Calgary. Five grandchildren; Dale Everatt, Craig Everatt, Katelynn Everatt, Jeremy Everatt, and Elizabeth Everatt. Four brothers and sisters; Rose Everatt, Harry Everatt, Gary Everatt, and Eva Reiser. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
He was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth in 1989 and his parents.
Cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held in Manitouwadge at a later date. Should friends so desire, donations made in the memory of Lawrence to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Ontario Lung Association would be greatly appreciated.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma, Thunder Bay.
