Freezing rain likely across the district today.
Environment Canada has warnings issued for Nakina – Aroland – Pagwa – Geraldton – Longlac – Caramat – Manitouwadge – Hornepayne.
A large area of precipitation continues to affect much of Northern Ontario. Precipitation is expected to begin as freezing rain or ice pellets before changing over to plain rain. Over the more northern sections, freezing rain is expected to last considerably longer. Hazardous driving conditions are expected as untreated roads may quickly become icy and slippery.

A large area of precipitation continues to affect portions of Northern Ontario. Over Northeastern Ontario, freezing rain is expected to change to rain by early afternoon as temperatures rise above freezing.
For more northern areas including Fraserdale, Geraldton, Gull Bay and Upsala, various precipitation types are being reported. Freezing rain is likely today and tonight, but may be mixed with rain, snow or ice pellets.
Hazardous driving conditions are expected as untreated roads may quickly become icy and slippery.
