Crime Stoppers and the Greenstone OPP are asking for your help in solving a Break & Enter that occurred at a vacant outpost camp on Upper Laponen Lake.
Sometime between September 19th and November 19th 2012 some unknown persons went into the Mackay Lake Camps and stole approximately $2500.00 worth of goods.
Stolen were the following items:
- two aluminum boats,
- oars,
- anchors,
- electric water pump,
- freezer,
- handcrafted household furniture
- shop vac.
Anyone with information about who may be responsible for this theft or the whereabouts of the stolen property is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
Make the call that helps us all…your identity will remain anonymous and you could be paid a reward for information that helps solve this crime or any other crime. You will not have to testify in court.
The Thunder Bay District Crime Stoppers will be holding the 24th Annual Charity Hockey Game onFriday, February 8th, 2013at theFortWilliamGardens. The Police All Star team will face off with the Thunder Bay Senator’s/ Thunder Cats Alumni team. This battle will be sure to entertain hockey fans of all ages. Admission is free with a cash donation being accepted at the door.
The evening will start off with a full police honour guard opening ceremonies at6:30with the puck dropping at7:10. There will be a number of fun activities throughout the game with great prizes for the children and raffles for the adults. Don’t miss this great night of family fun and cheer on your old favorites from Thunder Bay Hockey Royalty.
