WHITE RIVER, ON – November 30, 2012 at 9:18 am the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Superior East White River Detachment officers were advised of a male walking around the community covered in blood. The male was located at a residence on Winnipeg St. He was found to be intoxicated and a check of his record revealed that he was breaching a probation order. As a result, 29 year old Derek SUTHERLAND was arrested for Breach of Probation. The accused was taken to the Lady Dunn Health Centre in Wawa and his injuries were treated.
While at the residence police located a second male that was on probation with a condition not to be in that residence. As a result, 44 year old Charlton DESMOULIN was arrested for Breach of Probation.
Both males were released and are scheduled to appear in Wawa Criminal Court on January 14, 2013.
