Break and Enter and Theft under $5000
Crime Stoppers and the Manitouwadge OPP are asking for your help in solving the Theft of some Jewelry and prescription medication that occurred at a residence on Caribou Drive in the Townshipof Manitouwadge.
Sometime between November 22nd 2012 and November 29th 2012 an unknown person broke into a residence and stole a bag full of irreplaceable jewelry and 7 Fentonal medication patches. The suspect forced open the front door to gain entry to the elderly victims home while she was in the hospital.
The property stolen includes the following items:
- 14 kt yellow gold 1985 wedding ring set (2 rings)
- 18kt yellow gold 1946 wedding band
- 18kt yellow gold 1956 watch
- 4 broken gold rings
- 8 unique 2000 millennium stamps
- 1 Canadian Silver Quarter with a moose head on it.
- 7 75Mg Fentonal medicated patches
The items stolen are valued at $4000.00 and the damage to the door is approximately $500.00.
Anyone with information about who may be responsible for this crime or the whereabouts of the Jewlery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
