MANITOUWADGE, ON – Last week the Manitouwadge Public School Student Crew honed their presentation skills in front of Mrs. McLeod’s class who were visiting the library.
Donovon and Spencer took part in a BookTalk program and presented books of interest to the class. The two presenters certainly captured the attention of their audience as we later saw the whole class relaxing and enjoying one of the books suggested by the Student Crew with a very positive review. Having Student Crew members share details of the stories, authors and illustrators behind their favourite books generates enthusiasm for literacy among their peers and especially the younger students who look up to them.
Another job well done at Manitouwadge Public School by students acting as positive role models for their peers and classmates.
