Break & Enter and Theft under $5000.00
Crime Stoppers and the Nipigon OPP are asking for your help in solving a Break & Enter and the theft of two firearms.
September 24th 2012 an unknown suspect entered a camp using a pry tool and went into some of the outbuildings. The camp is located onBible Lake Rd in the Township of Dorion. The suspect turned on the power, cooked something to eat and had a nap. It is unknown how long the suspect was at the camp before leaving with the firearms and several other items.
The firearms taken were:
- .22 caliber single shot, bolt action rifle
- 12 gauge cooey single shot, break action shot gun, serial #15446
Also taken was a pillow, men’s red hunting jacket, women’s red fleece jacket, a black mag light, hip waders and some peanut butter and honey.
Anyone with information about who may be responsible for this crime or the whereabouts of two firearms is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
