STATE OF EMERGENCY CONTINUES IN WAWA
WAWA, ON – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Superior East Wawa Detachment and the Municipality of Wawa advise that the State of Emergency continues for the Municipality.
At this time Highway 17 North bound from Wawa to White River has one lane open through the washout areas. The OPP and Ministry of Transportation (MTO) warn motorists to drive with caution as the highway will have gravel sections and the weather has made the roadways hazardous to drive on.
