LONGLAC, ON – The Greenstone Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) would like to inform residents of Greenstone that there is a natural gas leak on John St. in the town or Longlac. Currently the Greenstone OPP and Longlac Fire Department are at the scene.
Natural gas has confirmed that there are no safety concerns for public in the area and are working to rectify the problem but it will take a few hours. In the mean time People in the Longlac area should be aware that traffic is being re-routed around John St. Residents should also be aware that there is a strong odour of natural gas in the area which is related to the leak.
