Minor Injuries Reported
WAWA, ON – August 15, 2012 at 7:50 am Superior East OPP in Wawa received a report of a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 101 at Kinniwabi River Bridge. It was reported that a pickup truck had struck a loader at the bridge causing minor injuries to both the driver and the loader operator. Both subjects were taken to Lady Dunn Hospital in Wawa by ambulance for treatment. Damage was extensive to the pickup truck. Although charges are not expected, this matter remains under investigation.
