SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING ISSUED
ENVIRONMENT CANADA HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR
- CHAPLEAU – MISSINAIBI LAKE
- AGAWA – LAKE SUPERIOR PARK
- GERALDTON – LONGLAC – CARAMAT – MARATHON – SCHREIBER – WAWA – WHITE RIVER – PUKASKWA
WEATHER RADAR AT 4:50 AM EDT INDICATED CLUSTERS OF STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE REGION. THEY ARE MOVING EAST AT 50 KM/H.
LARGE HAIL OF 2 CENTIMETRES AND DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 90 KM/H ARE POSSIBLE.
EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ONTARIO RECOMMENDS TAKING COVER IMMEDIATELY WHEN THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES.
