MARATHON, ON – It was a close game heading into the 7th inning at the first game of the evening on Dyers’ Field Monday but The Outlaws exploded for an amazing 13 runs in the inning which sealed the deal in a 28-13 victory over Barrick. The highlight of the inning came when Jolene Michano of The Outlaws smacked a hit past 3 fielders and made it all the way home (with a leg injury) bringing in a total of three runs in the process! Ben Kowalczyk added 2 Homeruns for Barrick but it was not enough as they drop to 2-14-1 on the season. The win improves The Outlaws record to 5-12-1.
The Kids continue to turn some heads as they fought their way to a 17-17 tie against 1st place Brokerlink. Jordan Cottom hit his 2nd Homerun for the year for The Kids while Jim Ellis and Byron Lackey each had 2 for Brokerlink. Brokerlink continues to sit atop the standings at 11-3-2 while the Kids sit in 5th at 5-8-2.
