TYLER’s TWO CENTS…

In 1999 we met Jim Levenstein, an awkward teenager who along with his friends found themselves in a series of comedic events- often of a sexual nature. The movie- American Pie, became an instant classic which was followed by American Pie 2 then American Wedding in 2003. Fast forward to 2012 and the crew is back together for their High School Reunion in American Reunion! The whole crew is back including Eugene Levy as Jim’s Dad and Jennifer Coolidge as Stiffler’s Mom.

American Reunion highlights a week which features nine New Releases in total. Here is a brief synopsis of each title;

NEW RELEASES ON DVD & BLU-RAY

American Reunion: starring Jason Biggs and Eugene Levy – Jim, Stiffler and the crew reunite for their High School Reunion where old romances rekindle and typical awkward situations occur. (Comedy)(DVD and Blu-Ray)

Bag of Hammers: starring Jason Ritter – Two slacker twenty-somethings suddenly find themselves in custody of a rambunctious child. Together with the help of their friend, they attempt form an unlikely family . (Comedy) (DVD)

Being Flynn: starring Robert De Niro and Paul Dano – While working in a homeless shelter in downtown Boston, a young man is unexpectedly reunited with his con-man father- a self proclaimed poet. Feeling some conflict in his own life, the young man struggles with the possibility of reconnecting with his father. (Drama) (DVD)

Black Limousine: starring David Arquette – Jack is a divorced father, recovering alcoholic and former Hollywood composer who is struggling to cope with a tragic accident. After he meets a young actress while working as a limo driver, his life takes a turn towards madness. (Drama) (DVD)

Dragon Eyes: starring Jean-Claude Van Damme – In a small town full of drug dealers and corrupt cops, a man arrives and takes it upon himself to serve some justice. (Action) (DVD)

The Forger: starring Hayden Panettiere and Josh Hutcherson – A rebellious young artist is introduced to the sketchy world of art forgery. He then falls for a young woman who attempts to steer him back on the right track. (Drama/Romance) (DVD)

Long Weekend: starring Jim Caviezel – After being released from prison, a man takes his wife on a vacation to the wilderness. They soon discover that nature has plenty of surprises in store for them. (Thriller/Horror) (DVD)

Margaret: starring Anna Paquin and Matt Damon – A young woman witnesses a bus accident, and is caught up in the aftermath, where the question of whether or not it was intentional affects the lives of many people. (Drama) (DVD and Blu-Ray)

Note 3: starring Genie Francis – A young single mother forms an unlikely friendship with an author, after a desperate situation forces her to abandon her child on his doorstep.

NCAA Football 2013 – The biggest college football stars are back for another action packed season! Choose your favorite school and play a season, franchise, or exhibition games. New features include an all new passing game system and a new Dynasty mode which requires player scouting and drafting . Available for PS3 and 360.
