Brokerlink Wins Back to Back at Dyers’ Field – July 17th Mixed Slow-Pitch Scores

MARATHON, ON – Players were back out on Dyers’ Field tonight after yesterday’s (July 16th) Jagerbombers vs. Barrick and Mobert vs. The Kids games being cancelled, due to heavy rainfall.

07/17/12 GAME 1 – BROKERLINK vs. OUTLAWS

The homeruns came in bunches as Brokerlink went deep 6 times to defeat the Outlaws by a score of 18-10. Kevin Puhakka led the way with 3 while Adam McCullough added 2 of his own. Shawn Michano and Ryan McKinnon hit homers for the Outlaws in a losing cause. The win sees Brokerlink improve their record to 9-2-1 while the Outlaws drop to 3-11-1

07/17/12 GAME 2 – BROKERLINK vs. CROSSOVER VIDEO BLUE JAYS

Due to a previously canceled game, Brokerlink played back-to-back tonight and came out swinging hard again in game 2.
Brokerlink hit a total of 7 Homeruns to defeat Crossover by a score of 19-16. Jim Ellis capped off a 3 Homerun performance with a walk-off Grand-Slam in the bottom of the 7th. Though it would not be enough, Crossover hit 5 Homeruns of their own. With their 2nd win of the night, Brokerlink improved their standings to an impressive 10-2-1 while Crossover dropped to 7-6.

Will Brokerlink be able to maintain their momentum tomorrow? Join them at Dyers’ Field as they go to bat against the top standing Jagerbombers from Pic River First Nation who were sitting at 10-4 at last week’s end.
