STABBING IN GERALDTON

 GERALDTON, ON – In the early morning hours of June 03, 2012 members of the Greenstone Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call for service at a residence in Geraldton regarding two victims with stab wounds.

When police arrived at the scene a 22 year old male was arrested. A 16 year old male and a 17 year old male were taken to the Geraldton District hospital and treated for minor non-life threatening injuries.

Further investigation by police resulted in six youths being arrested. These youth face various charges including break and enter, assault and assaulting a police officer.

Greenstone OPP are continuing their investigation and the seven people who have been arrested will be attending court regarding the incident in the coming months.
