OLOL Invitational (Regional) Track & Field Results

MANITOUWADGE, ON – June 19th, Our Lady of Lourdes School held it’s annual Invitational Track & Field meet. Though this used to be called the Annual Board Wide meet because attendance was by other schools in the Superior North Catholic School Board, Manitouwadge’s 2 other elementary public schools had often attended as well, from that it has grown,to include an estimated 135 students representing 8 Northshore schools from 3 seperate boards
In attendance at the meet, in addition to the students who had qualified from the Our Lady of Lourdes school meet the week prior (CLICK HERE for photos & results from that), were students from Schreiber Public School and Holy Angels Catholic School in Schreber; Terrace Bay Public School and St. Martin Catholic School in Terrace Bay, Pic River Elementary School students and from Manitouwadge Public School and Ecole Public Franco-Manitou of Manitouwadge.
The meet was a spectacular day of new friends, old rivalries, and great sportsmanship. Students represented their schools and communities in ways that they could be very proud of. Congratulations to all those who participated! Special mention goes to the OVERALL TOP SCORING Athletes for the meet, Jamie Thompson from École Publique Franco-Manitou in Manitouwadge and for the boys, Brock Trichillo from Holy Angels School in Schreiber.
