MICHIPICOTEN FIRST NATION, ON – June 9, 2012 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Superior East Wawa Detachment were advised of an assault that had taken place at a residence on Michipicoten First Nation. As a result of police investigation 45 year old Mervin LEWIS of Michipicoten First Nation, Ontario was arrested and charged with the Assault.
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear in Wawa Criminal Court on August 13, 2012.
