Marathon Graduates Recognized at 2012 Convocation
MARATHON, ON – 9 students from the Confederation College Northshore campus in Marathon, crossed the stage today at the 2012 Convocation Ceremony, to signify and celebrate the completion of their academic programs.
The nine students graduated from Concurrent Disorders, Social Service Worker, Pre-Health and Medical Laboratory Assistant programs.
This group joins the over 1235 Confederation College students who are graduating this year from across northwestern Ontario.
Confederation College President, Jim Madder presided over the ceremony. “Graduates should be very proud of themselves for their accomplishments,” said Madder. “Ceremonies like these signify completion of hard work, dedication, and a keen understanding of the skills and knowledge that will transition them successfully into the workforce.”
Yesterday’s graduation ceremony was attended by family and friends as well as staff and faculty from Confederation College.
