TERRACE BAY, ON – Wednesday, April 25th the St. Martin School Council brought Science North’s Portable Planetarium to students, staff, and parents. Throughout the day each classroom from Kindergarten to Grade 8 was transported for a one hour journey through space, where they were able to explore the surface of Mars and see inside the rings of Saturn.
All students went home so enthusiastic about the experience that each half hour family journey that evening was filled beyond capacity. The four shows allowed families to journey through the planets and moons of our cosmic neighbourhood, while feeling like real space explorers.
