Mourning the Loss of Wawa Goose Seniors’ Club Member
LAVOIE, Alma Marie – Passed away peacefully at the Lady Dunn Health Centre on Tuesday May 29, 2012 just 16 days before her 97th birthday. Beloved wife of the late Gerard Lavoie. Dear mother of; Jeanette Pike, the late Réal Lavoie (Yvonne), Rita Larush (Sonny), Fern Couvrette (Danny), Leo Lavoie (Pat), Cecile Lashambe (Richard), the late Gerald Lavoie and Suzette Gauthier (Mike). Grandmother of 20, great grandmother of 36 and great great grandmother of 5. Dear sister of Georgette Stinson (Bruce) and predeceased by Leonard Ouellette, Florien Ouellette, Denise Class, Lucienne Nelson, Martha Pearson and Aurore Martel. Alma was an avid member of the Wawa Goose Seniors Club.
Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Monica’s Church on Saturday June 2, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Sebastien Groleau officiating. Interment at Woodland Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Lady Dunn Health Centre Equipment Fund would be greatly appreciated by the family.
