MANITOUWADGE, ON – Wednesday our students sponsored a talent show for fellow students, parents and visitors and those of participants from École Publique Franco-Manitou.
Ms. Capy and her class were instrumental in organizing this talent show in our gymnasium. The very talented participants offered a myriad of performing arts numbers including several dances, a reading, a piano solo and vocal numbers (singing).Pictured on the left are two up and coming stars performing the song “See You Again”. The opening act was superbly done (not to mention just downright cute!) by the students from Madame Aguiar’s FSL class. They performed their interpretation of the “Three Little Pigs” as a French musical number.
Encouraging students to perform in front of an audience is a positive step towards building valuable confidence and leadership qualities. Well done to all the participants!
