May is here and, as promised previously, it is going to be a great month for new release movies and games! For the movie lovers, the big titles start rolling in this week! In total, there are nine new releases this week, headlined by the star studded cast of New Year’s Eve (which seems to star every actor to have ever acted!). Let’s have a look at each title in more detail;
NEW RELEASES on DVD and BLU-Ray
Haywire: starring Gina Carano, Channing Tatum and Michael Douglas– A Black-Ops agent is set-up during a mission, and now she must work to find out who set her up and how she can get her revenge. (Action) (DVD and Blu-Ray)
New Year’s Eve: starring over 20 big name actors including Hillary Swank, Michelle Pfeiffer, Jon Bon Jovi, Robert De Niro and more– The lives of several people in New York intertwine during the course of New Year’s Eve. (Drama/Romance) (DVD and Blu-Ray)
Joyful Noise: starring Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton– A small town choir club seeks to beat the odds and win the National Choir competition. However, things become difficult when a singer clashes with the clubs new director. (Drama/Music) (DVD and Blu-Ray)
Flicka Country Pride: starring Clink Black– When Toby and Flicka are hired at a stable, a teenage girl quickly bonds with the horse. Despite her mother’s disapproval, she hopes to train Flicka for an upcoming competition. When fears arise over a dishonest trainer and the family’s financial troubles, Toby must step up to save the day. (Family/Drama) (DVD and Blu-Ray)
And They’re Off: starring Sean Astin– The story of a failed horse trainer who desperately wants to be back in the winner’s circle at whatever cost. (Comedy) (DVD)
Dark Tide: starring Halle Berry– Nine years after a near fatal shark attack, a diver returns to the waters to face her fears. (Adventure/Thriller) (DVD)
The Innkeepers: starring Sara Paxton- As an old motel prepares to close its doors for good, two employees set about to find proof that the inn is haunted. (Horror) (DVD)
The Odds: After his best friend is found dead, a young man must dive deep into the underground gambling scene to find the truth about his friends death. (Drama/Suspense) (DVD)
Tomorrow When the War Began: starring Rachel Hurd-Wood– When their country is invaded and their families are abducted, eight high school teenagers band together to fight to save their land. (Adventure/Thriller) (DVD and Blu-Ray)

Nothing new this week, but the countdown is on for Max Payne 3, available May 15th….

As a token of appreciation to our customers, we are offering a new deal on New Releases- Rent 3, Get 1 Free! This deal can be used on DVD’s, Blu-Rays or a combination of both. Also, in the next few days, we will be launching a new deal that we’ve coined “The Campers Special”. Just in time for camping season, customers can extend their rentals to 4 nights for only 1.00 extra! This will allow customers to bring movies out camping in the event that they are saddled with inclement weather. Be sure to take advantage of the “Campers Special” starting very soon!
FOOD BANK FUNDRAISER SOLD OUT
We would like to thank everyone who purchased a Crossover Tote Bag. The Tote Bags are now sold out, and we were able to raise 100 dollars for the Marathon Food Bank! Thank you for supporting this worthy cause!
MOVIES IN MANITOUWADGE
It’s official! We will be offering a new movie rental service in Manitouwadge! Details are still being finalized, but with the help of your very own Karina Hunter, customers can expect to begin enjoying our selection of New Releases in Manitouwadge starting in June!
