MANITOUWADGE PUBLIC SCHOOL CURLS!
MANITOUWADGE, ON – This week our grade 7 /8 students teamed up with the grade 7 / 8 students from OLOL and ‘sacrificed’ a day of books and school work to spend the day at the curling rink. This was the fourth annual bonspiel for students from both schools to enjoy some great camaraderie before they meet up again in the grade nine high school classroom this fall. This well-organized day of curling is a highlight of the year for Grade 7/8 students, that they look forward to with anticipation all year and this year was no exception.Each team includes students from both schools which proved to be an exciting and excellent chance to ‘get-to-know’ each other.
When people enjoy each other’s company in an event like this, everybody is a winner. So look out Glen Howard and Mirjam Ott because your competition is on the way from MPS and OLOL!
