CHAPLEAU, ON – April 18th, 2012 the Ontario Provincial Police Superior East Chapleau Detachment were advised of a break and enter that had occurred at a residence on Elgin St. It is believed that the break in occurred sometime between 3:00 pm and 9:00 pm that day. Items stolen from the residence included alcohol, cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of money. The residence was entered by smashing the window in a door. OPP continue to investigate this matter. Anyone with any information is requested to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers.
