NIPIGON, ON – March 18 2012 at 4:15 p.m., Nipigon Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of an assault from a woman walking her infant in the Town of Nipigon. The woman was pushing her child in a stroller on Bell Street when a beer can was thrown at them from a passing motor vehicle. Investigation revealed that a male passenger traveling in the vehicle was responsible for throwing the beer can. No injuries were sustained.
Rodney CORBETT, a 44 year old male of Nipigon, Ontario has been charged with Assault contrary to the Criminal Code and is scheduled to appear in Nipigon Court on July 24, 2012 to answer to the charge.
