TYLER TALKS…
Well we’ve officially entered March and it is truly a great month for movie and game lovers. This week starts off with a bang, dealing out some big movie releases and arguably the biggest game release so far this year! There are nine new release movies this week- let’s have a look at each one in detail;
NEW RELEASES ON DVD & BLU-RAY
Immortals: starring Mickey Rourke and Freida Pinto– A man is chosen to lead the fight against a ruthless King who is on a rampage to obtain a weapon that can destroy humanity. (Medieval Action) (DVD, Blu-Ray and 3D Blu-Ray)
Jack and Jill: starring Adam Sandler, Katie Holmes and Al Pacino– Jack, a successful commercial producer, is dreading the annual visit of his rambunctious twin sister who has tendency to overstay her welcome. (Comedy) (DVD and Blu-Ray)
Footloose: starring Kenny Wormald and Dennis Quaid– A city kid moves to a small town where rock and roll has been banned, and causes a rebellion in an effort to get the townspeople to lift the ban. (Drama/Music) (DVD and Blu-Ray)
Tooth Fairy 2: starring Larry the Cable Guy– After a man loses his first love to the town hot shot, he decides to try to win her back by volunteering to help at an after school program. But when he accidentally tells the kids that the tooth fairy is make believe, he wakes up to discover that he has become the Tooth Fairy! (Family) (DVD and Blu-Ray)
Beneath the Darkness: starring Tony Oller and Dennis Quaid– After breaking into the home of a well liked local funeral director, a young man is murdered with his friends looking on. Now they must convince the police and their families that their friends death was a murder (and not an accident) before they become the next victims. (Thriller) (DVD and Blu-Ray)
Columbus Circle: starring Selma Blair- A lady who’s been shut inside her apartment building for nearly twenty years is forced to confront her fears after one of her neighbours is killed and a detective arrives to begin the investigation. (Drama) (DVD)
A group of former college friends are forced to deal with a pact that they made as young men after things start to spiral out of control during their annual reunion. (Drama) (DVD)
Like Crazy: starring Anton Yelchin and Felicity Jones– A British college student falls for an American student, only to be separated from him when her Visa expires and she is sent back to Britain. (Drama/Romance) (DVD and Blu-Ray)
Wyatt Earp’s Revenge: starring Val Kilmer and Shawn Roberts– Based on a True Story- After the love of his of his life is gunned down by ruthless outlaws, Wyatt Earp forms a posse and sets out for revenge against the killers. (Western/Drama) (DVD)
FOR THE GAMERS
Mass Effect 3– The newest instalment in the popular Mass Effect franchise promises to be even better than the rest with interactive storytelling, customizable characters and integrated multiplayer co-op modes! Also, for the first time ever, the game is compatible with Kinect (for 360 only)! Rent or Buy a copy of Mass Effect 3 today at Crossover! Available for PS3 and 360.
MLB 12– The Show- Everyone’s favourite baseball game is back for another season! Featuring Jose Bautista of the Toronto Blue Jays, this game has been dubbed by some critics as the best of the series so far! Available for PS3 and Playstation Vita!
