MHS Literacy Preparation, NWOSSA Championships & the Future
Literacy Preparation
As you may be aware all students must write and pass the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test to be eligible to graduate. This is normally done in grade 10. This year’s test will be written on March 29, 2012.
To help prepare our students for the test, we will run a Literacy Test Preparation Class at lunch time for those students who are writing the test this year. It is highly recommended that all students who are writing the test participate in the class. The class will be conducted daily by Miss C Noble and Mr T Lalonde. It will start at 11:25 and end at 12:10 daily starting Tues Feb 21. Please strongly encourage your child to attend on a regular basis.
WOLVERINES SPORTS
Congratulations to the Senior Girls Volleyball team who won the NSSSAA Championship. They will be participating in the NWOSSAA Championship in our gym on Feb 23 and 24.
