MARATHON, ON – The Marathon Winter Carnival is only a week away and anticipation is building. There are great new events at this year’s Winter Carnival being held February 12like the Crossover Video and Marathon Theatre collaboration: FREE GAMING DAY AT THE THEATRE, they are inviting to come and play Wii on the big screen! Meanwhile skating and swimming is happening at the Recreation Centre as well ensuring activities to suit EVERY taste! If the out-doors are more your style, visit the Marathon Cross-Country Ski and Snowshoe Club at the Marathon Golf Course Sunday is 1/2 price skiing and snowshoeing day, there’s Sno-Golf with Golf Pro Brett Redden, a snow-sculpture competition and SO MUCH MORE!
