This is the week that Twilight fans have been waiting for! Breaking Dawn Part 1 makes its much anticipated and long awaited debut on DVD and Blu-Ray this Saturday, February 11^th! This is the second last movie in the Twilight series and is an ideal Valentine’s Day gift for the Twilight fan in your life! Not to be outdone, there are ten other movies releasing this week. Let’s have a look at each one in detail;

NEW RELEASES ON DVD & BLU-RAY

Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 1: starring Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart– Edward and Bella, whose unborn child poses a threat to the Wolf Pack and the towns people of Forks, must fend off The Quileutes as they close in on the expecting couple. (Romance/Drama) (DVD and Blu-Ray)

A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas: starring Kal Penn and John Cho– After reuniting for the first time in years, Kumar accidentally burns down Harolds Christmas Tree- the pride of his over-bearing father-in-law. Now the two friends, along with a couple sidekicks, must hunt down the perfect replacement tree. (Comedy) (DVD, Blu-Ray and 3D Blu-Ray)

Texas Killing Fields: starring Sam Worthington, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Jessica Chastain- BASED ON A TRUE STORY- Two detectives team up to try to solve a series of murders which land the victims in the brutal Texas Killing Fields. (Drama/Crime) (DVD and Blu-Ray)

Anonymous: starring Rhys Ifans and Vanessa Redgrave- The story of the theory brought about that suggested that it was Edward De Vere who wrote all of Shakespeare’s plays- and not Shakespeare himself. (Drama) (DVD)

Another Happy Day: starring Ellen Barkin, Thomas Haden Church and Demi Moore– A wedding at her parents’ Annapolis estate puts high-strung Lynn into the center of touchy family dynamics. (Drama) (DVD)

Boy Toy: starring John White – An unsuccessful underwear model prepares for the role of his life. (Comedy) (DVD)

Die: Six strangers wake up in an abandoned factory not knowing where they are or how they got there. (Thriller) (DVD)

Stay Cool: starring Winona Ryder and Chevy Chase– An author who returns to his hometown to deliver a speech must deal with his feelings for an old love as well as the advances of a student who has a crush on him. (Comedy) (DVD)

Sunset Limited: starring Tommy Lee Jones and Samuel L. Jackson– Two men debate their opposite belief systems. (Drama) (DVD)

Geek Charming– After saving her expensive handbag from the fountain, a high school nerd convinces the popular girl to be in his documentary about popularity. Before long, she realizes that geeks can be cool too. (Kids) (DVD)

Warriors Heart: starring Kellen Lutz– After losing his father who died in combat, a star lacrosse player begins acting out in ways that have his mom and friends concerned. It isn’t until attending a lacrosse camp (run by one of his late Dad’s army buddies) that he begins to realize the true meaning of life. (Drama) (DVD)

Kingdoms of Amular Reckoning– A single-player role-playing game for set in the massive fantasy world of Amalur. Reckoning tells a story of discovery, destiny, and awakening magic and redefines character classes with the unique Destiny system- and its fluid action sets a new standard for RPG combat

The Darkness 2– An intense first person shooter that puts you in the role of Jackie Estacado, don of a New York crime family and wielder of an ancient force of chaos known as The Darkness. It’s been two years since Jackie used his power to kill the men responsible for his girlfriend’s murder. He’s been unable to shake the memory of Jenny’s death since bottling up The Darkness and now it wants out. A botched attempt on Jackie’s life opens the door for The Darkness to re-emerge, and sets Jackie on a journey as he unravels the mystery behind the attack and the motives of The Darkness.
