Carnival Gaming Day Wrap-Up
Well Marathon Winter Carnival 2012 has come and gone and the 1st Annual Gaming Day at the Theatre was a success! Although there were not as many kids as we expected, an enthusiastic group ranging from ages 4-14 were on hand along with parents to take part in a really cool opportunity to play their favourite Wii games on the giant theatre screen! The laughs and smiles of the kids were enough to indicate that they truly enjoyed their afternoon of gaming! I would like to acknowledge Marathon Theatre owner Nancy Meek and High School student Tyler Senden who, along with myself, were on hand to assist and supervise the kids as they played! Look for another Gaming Day at the Theatre at next year’s Marathon Winter Carnival!
Have a safe week and don’t forget to support your local businesses!
