MANITOUWADGE, ON – Township of Manitouwadge Community Services is doing it again… Director Dan Deschamps has, since beginning in his role with the ‘rec department’ in December, been earning a reputation for thinking ‘outside the box’, and expectations for an answer to “what will he think up next” are being set high by residents.
Deschamps was pleased to announce this week that the Township is offering a fun, active, adult challenge for those who enjoy team sports, competition, meeting new people and perhaps, trying new things with Manitouwadge’s
St. Patrick’s Day Mixed

Saturday, March 17th
The tournament will take place at the baseball diamond behind the Community Clubhouse (a.k.a. Golf club restaurant) and will include at least 3 games for each team, a light supper, award ceremony and adult social at the Community Clubhouse. If your social circle doesn’t include a full team of baseball players, don’t fret, registration is $20/person and you are welcome to register independantly just be sure to do so asap – registration closes March 13th and the FIRST 6 teams will be accepted (other rules to be aware of available below).

TOURNAMENT INFO
- First six paid teams will be accepted – $20.00 per player
- Teams guaranteed 3 games – light supper and prizes
- Award ceremony and adult social at community club house
- Players must be 19 years and over to participate
- Sign up as a team or individual(s) – Sign up at township office
- Deadline to register is Tuesday, March 13, 2012
- 3-pitch rule in effect – Teams must have a minimum of 4 women
