2010 MAYORAL HOPEFUL FACES DRUG/WEAPONS CHARGES
SEARCH WARRANT EXECUTED IN MANITOUWADGE
MANITOUWADGE, ON – February 9, 2012 approximately 2:00 pm members of the Manitouwadge Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Provincial Weapons Enforcement Unit, and the Northwest Region Canine unit executed a search warrant at 1 Brooks Street in Manitouwadge ON.
While searching the residence officers located marihuana and trafficking related materials. The value of which was under $1000.00. The officers also located several firearms and ammunition which were seized in the interest of public safety.
David WHEADON, 62 years of age, of Manitouwadge ON was charged with Possession for the Purpose of a Schedule II Controlled Drug and Substance. WHEADON was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Manitouwadge court on March 21, 2012.
