MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION ON HIGHWAY 11 /17 – UPDATE
THUNDER BAY, ON – January 22nd 2012 at approximately 04:50 am, Thunder Bay OPP responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a Chevrolet Uplander and a Tractor Trailer on Highway 11/17 near Pineview Road.
The driver of the Chevrolet Uplander, Matthew Gibbons, 17 years of age, from Thunder Bay, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation is continuing.
