MANITOUWADGE, ON – January 19, 2012 the Manitouwadge Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a home invasion robbery that had taken place in the community. An investigation was then undertaken with the assistance of the OPP North West Region Crime Unit.
As a result of the ongoing investigation two males were arrested and have been held in custody. It is alleged that the two accused broke into the victim’s home where they accosted him with weapons and robbed him.
22 year old Ridge ZOTTER of Manitouwadge is charged with the following offences:
- Breaking and entering a dwelling
- Assault with a weapon
- Robbery
- Intimidation
- Using a disguise
- Causing unnecessary suffering to an animal
- Breach of probation
- Failing to comply with an undertaking x 2
21 year old Brendon ZOTTER of Manitouwadge is charged with the following offences:
- Breaking and entering a dwelling
- Assault with a weapon
- Robbery
- Intimidation
- Using a disguise
- Using an imitation firearm while committing an offence
- Breach of probation
