HAVE YOU CHEERED FOR WAWA TODAY?

The Wawa Community Centre needs your “cheers”! Molson is giving away up to $1 million dollars and the Wawa Rotary Club wants Wawa to win big. A request to renovate the Michipicoten Community Centre heating and cooling system was accepted by the Molson Coors Community Cheer program and we now need supporters of Wawa to Cheer and vote on-line for the Wawa Rotary Club Arena Upgrade project.

“The Wawa Community Centre has experienced major equipment failures including the loss of its heating and cooling system. The estimated costs of the arena upgrades are about $750,000 so we need all the help we can get to access funding to pay for the upgrades. I believe Wawa can be the most cheered on community in Canada and I invite all residents and past visitors of Wawa to start cheering for the Wawa Community Centre to prove that Wawa has community spirit and deserves to win the contest,”

said Mayor Linda Nowicki.
