MANITOUWADGE, ON – January 9th, OntarioNewsNorth.com Editor Karina Hunter, spoke with Manitouwadge’s Economic Development Officer Anthony Friedrich. Friedrich moved from Schreiber, where he had worked as Community Development Officer, to Manitouwadge just a month prior and in spite of the holidays occurring during that month he has clearly hit the ground running already putting ideas into practice as with the Northern Community Investment Readiness program he applied to within just two days of beginning. It will be interesting to watch as Friedrich continues his work to development Manitouwadge’s economic strategy, support existing businesses in efforts to expand or encourage new entrepreneurship in the community and/or promote tourism in the community.
