CHAPLEAU, ON – The Superior East Ontario Provincial Police Chapleau Detachment have joined in the fight against prostate cancer. There are 12 officers and 1 civilian member of the detachment that will be participating in the Movember challenge.
On Movember 1st they all started off clean shaven. During the rest of the month they must sprout a moustache to raise awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer.
The officers are not looking for donations just hoping that their faces will spark private and public conversation around the often ignored issue of men’s health. Anyone can donate to this cause by accessing the Movember website at http://ca.movember.com.
