RED ROCK, ON – The Red Rock Beautification Committee’s loonie basket auction is being held this Sunday from 1-4pm at the Legion Hall.
Baskets are donated by anyone who wishes to create them as well as by the Red Rock Beautification Committee’s with donated items . The baskets can range from grocery items, wine baskets, chocolates, pretty much whatever strikes the fancy of whomever is making them up. All money made from the auction goes back to the Beautification Committee to help us with projects that we do around Red Rock, which right now is the park by the Red Rock Inn. We’re looking at bringing the park back to what it was many years ago. We’re non profit so everything we do is by fundraising, donations and all volunteer help. It seemed that when the Mill went down the spirit of the town went down a little too, so when the committee was formed it was to help boost the town up again, and so far it’s been a great success!
Admission is free all they need to do is bring loonies although we can make change for them if needed! There will be refreshments provided as well…The date is November 27th at the Red Rock Legion from 1-4
