As the weather starts to cool down and the snow starts to fall, movies are the perfect way to spend the time! December is always a big month when it comes to new releases and this December will be no different. Look for major titles like “The Hangover 2”, “Kung Fu Panda 2”, “Cowboys and Aliens”, “The Smurfs” and so many more all coming in December! The rest of November is looking good as well!

Here are this week’s new releases:

Larry Crowne: starring Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts– After losing his job due to a lack of education, a middle-aged man decides to attend college where he meets new friends and the woman of his dreams. (Comedy/Romance) (DVD and Blu-Ray)

Flypaper: starring Patrick Dempsey and Ashley Judd– A man caught in the middle of two simultaneous robberies at the same bank desperately tries to protect the teller who he’s secretly in love. (Crime/Action) (DVD)

11/11/11– After the death of his wife and child, an author travels to Barcelona where he learns that his life is plagued by events that occur on 11/11/11. (Horror) (DVD and Blu-Ray)

Assassins Creed Lineage– Based on the popular video game franchise! A prequel to the events that took place in the game Assassins Creed 2. (Adventure/Fantasy) (DVD)

Bunraku: starring Josh Hartnett , Woody Harrelson and Demo Moore– Three strangers come together on a mission to seek revenge against a ruthless leader and his army of thugs, headed by nine diverse and deadly assassins. (Action/Fantasy) (DVD)

Open Door– After calling in to a pirate radio station, a group of teens discover that it is best to be careful what you wish for… (Horror) (DVD)

Restitution: starring Tom Arnold and Mena Suvari– While investigation a series of murders in a small town, a true crime writer uncovers the devastating truth that could change the town forever. (Crime/Thriller) (DVD)

The Righteous and the Wicked- A wanted bandit gets caught up in a violently competitive hunt for stolen cash when he finds out that outlaws have robbed the local bank. (Western) (DVD)

Need for Speed The Run- The all new game in the incredibly popular Need for Speed franchise features an intense race-for-your-life story, taking players on an illicit, coast-to-coast race from San Francisco to New York. Available for PS3, 360 and WII.

Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary– In celebration of 10 years since the release of the original Halo, Microsoft decided to release this “Anniversary Edition”- which is a remastered and HD version of the original Halo Campaign. Available only for 360.

Saints Row The Third– Years after taking Stilwater for their own, the Third Street Saints have evolved from street gang to household brand name. The Saints are kings of Stilwater, but their celebrity status has not gone unnoticed. The Syndicate, a legendary criminal fraternity with pawns in play all over the globe, has turned its eye on the Saints. After The Saints fail to acknowledge The Syndicate, an all out street fight ensues
