This will be a big week at Crossover Video and Games! Not only are there a bunch of great movies set to be released, but Saturday,
December 3rd, will mark our 1 Year Anniversary of being in business! It’s hard to believe that it’s already been 1 full year! Before we go into detail with this week’s new releases, I want to take the opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us in our first year of business. It is because of your continued to support that we are able to expand our inventory to serve you better. We look forward to your continued business! Now for this week’s new movies;
NEW RELEASES
The Smurfs – RELEASED FRIDAY, DECEMBER 2ND: When a wizard chases the Smurfs out of their village, they tumble from their magical world into New York City. (Family Comedy) (DVD, Blu-Ray and 3D Blu-Ray)
30 Minutes or Less: starring Jesse Eisenberg– A pizza delivery guy is kidnapped by two criminals who strap a bomb to his chest, and inform him that he has mere hours to rob a bank or the bomb will be detonated. (Comedy) (DVD and Blu-Ray)
Friends With Benefits: RELEASED FRIDAY, DECEMBER 2ND– starring Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis- Two friends decide to add “benefits” to their relationship only to discover that it leads to some complications (Comedy/Romance) (DVD and Blu-Ray)
Our Idiot Brother: starring Paul Rudd and Elizabeth Banks– A hapless and clueless man is forced to move in with his sisters after his most recent prison stint forces his girlfriend away from him. It doesn’t take long for his antics to wreak havoc in their lives! (Comedy) (DVD and Blu-ray)
5 Days of War: starring Rupert Friend, Andy Garcia and Val Kilmer– An American journalist, his cameraman, and a Georgian native become caught in the crossfire in the war between Russia and Georgia. Mario Kart 7– The classic Mario Kart is brought back to life in stunning 3D! Race with new characters including Wiggler and Metal Mario! Available only for the Nintendo 3DS! Releases Sunday, December 4th
COMMUNITY COLLABORATIONS
The Christmas Extravaganza has come and gone and unfortunately the weather did not cooperate! The freezing rain and heavy winds were enough to keep many people indoors meaning the Extravaganza was not as busy as expected. The good news is that everyone who did make it through the doors seemed to leave with bags in hand and a smile on their face! There were over 20 tables/vendors on hand ranging from Tupperware to Avon to products from local businesses like Valerie’s Extended Wear and Crossover (of course 😉 Look for us to be set up once again at next year’s Extravaganza! If the weather cooperates, consider making the drive to the Moose Hall in Marathon next year for what is quickly becoming a must attend market!

As mentioned above, Saturday the day of our 1 Year Anniversary Celebrations! We will be serving cake and refreshments from 12-1 and will have prizes, give-aways, a coloring contest and more! At 12:30, we will be drawing to see who will be the lucky winner of our $1000 contest! Be sure to stop by Crossover to join in on the fun!
