SCHREIBER, ON – October 13th, Holy Angels School students and staff showed their support for finding a cure for Breast Cancer.  Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, students came to school dressed in their finest pink clothing.  If the students reached the goal of $150 the Grade 7/8 teacher agreed to dress like a woman Friday afternoon.  No surprise, this led to an outpouring of donations! As a whole, Holy Angels School raised over $320 in support of this important cause.  Students enjoyed watching Mr. Mauro try to maintain his balance while wearing his high heels for the afternoon.

All money raised by the event will be donated to the Northern Cancer Research Fund. A special  thanks goes out to the Grade 7/8 class who planned and organized this amazing event.   Bravo for their motivation!
