The Terrace Bay Downtown Revitalization Project was recently recognized by the Northern Ontario Development Network (NODN) as an excellent example of positive economic development in Northern Ontario.  NODN selected four projects in Northern Ontario to showcase at their recent annual general meeting with the Terrace Bay Downtown Project being the first shown.  The video production company Imaginarium Studios visited the Municipality in September and conducted interviews with Mayor Michael King and Special Projects Coordinator Sean Irwin to receive information on the project and local business owner Frank Trichilo gave a testimonial as to the impact on his business Drifters Restaurant.  The video has recently been released and can be found at www.terracebay.ca/news or by directly visiting the posting of the video on Vimeo at http://vimeo.com/29640334.   The video will also be shown at the annual Economic Development Council of Ontario conference next year in Toronto on Thursday, February 2, 2012.
