MANITOUWADGE, ON – The Northeast Regional Mayors Group, consisting of Manitouwadge Mayor John MacEachern, White River Mayor Angelo Bazzoni, Dubreuilville Mayor Louise Perrier, Wawa Mayor Linda Nowiki, Hornepayne Mayor Morley Forster and Chapleau Mayor Andre Byham held their first meeting since April today at the Council Chambers at the Township of Manitouwadge. Also in attendance were CAO’s from most communities and councillors Sheldon Plummer and Natalie Labbee of Manitouwadge.
Among those action items discussed at the meeting were the status of the CLUAH project, Regional Air Service, Doctor Recruitment, mining sector issues and other important topics.
