Well September has arrived and with it comes fall colors and cooler weather. The kids are back to school and we only have a few good camping days left. Now is the perfect time of the year to get caught up on all of the great movies that you missed over the summer; and what better way to start then with this week’s new releases. There are sixteen titles in total! Let’s have a look at each one in detail…
NEW RELEASES
X-Men First Class: starring James McAvoy and Kevin Bacon– In 1962, the United States government enlists the help of Mutants with superhuman abilities to stop a malicious dictator who is determined to start world war III. (Sci-Fi) (DVD and Blu-Ray) SPECIAL FRIDAY RELEASE DATE (September 9th)
Hanna: starring Eric Bana, Saoirse Ronan and Cate Blanchett– A 16-year-old who was raised by her father to be the perfect assassin is dispatched on a mission across Europe, tracked by a ruthless intelligence agent and her operatives. (Action/Drama) (DVD and Blu-Ray)

Children of the Corn Genesis: A young couple tries to free an imprisoned child with catastrophic results. (Horror) (DVD)
Cinderella Story Once Upon a Song: A young lady is upset to learn that she is being forced to sing and record tracks for her untalented step-sister so that she can win a major recording deal with a successful company (Teen Comedy/Drama) (DVD)
Disco Worms: An animated tale of a group of worms in a disco club. Featuring the voice of Jane Lynch from Glee. (Family/Kids) (DVD)
Good Heart: starring Brina Cox and Paul Dano- A bartender takes a young homeless man in under his wing. All is going well until the young man falls in love and breaks one the rules of the bar. (Drama) (DVD)
High Cost of Living: starring Zach Braff and Isabelle Blais- The story of a young, pregnant woman whose world falls apart when she loses her child in a hit and run accident. (Drama) (DVD)
A Horrible Way to Die: An escaped murderer is in pursuit of his ex-girlfriend, who has fled to start a new life in a small town. (Horror/Thriller) (DVD)
Madsos War: starring Michael Madsen- Madso leads a gang of criminals on the streets of Boston. When the local Irish mob boss goes on the lam, Madso and his crew are thrust into a street war, as rival gangsters and corrupt cops fight it out for control of the mobster’s hidden fortune. (Action/Crime) (DVD)
Road to Nowhere: starring Shannyn Sossamon- A young filmmaker gets wrapped up in a crime while shooting his new project on location. (Thriller/Romance) (DVD)
Stained: A lonely bookseller forms an obsessive love affair with her ex lover. (Drama/Thriller) (DVD)
Tracker: starring Ray Winstone- An Afrikaner veteran of the Boer War has just immigrated to New Zealand and is hired to track a man accused of killing a soldier. (Adventure/Drama) (DVD)
FOR THE GAMERS
Dead Island: A guest at a resort hotel wakes up after a night of partying to discover that all of the other guests have turned into zombies! Play with up to four players. Available on 360 and PS3.
Resistance 3: Takes place in 1957 when the United States is in shambles after falling to the Chimera. Sentinel Joseph Capelli emerges from hiding to follow a Russian doctor who thinks that he has a way to defeat the Chimera and save what is left of mankind. Available on PS3.
Driver San Francisco: Jericho escapes from the back of a prison truck only to be pursued by long time enemies Tanner and Tobias. What follows is havoc through the streets of San Francisco. Available on WII, PS3 and 360.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine- Captain Titus of the Ultramarines Chapter is sent with a small contingent of Ultramarines to slow down a group of invaders while the Liberation fleet prepares a counter assault. Available on 360 and PS3.

Here we grow again! This past Friday, Crossover Video and Games acquired nearly 3000 movies from a store in London in order to boost our selection and better serve our customers. Some of these movies have been put out for sale while others have been added to our rental sections. Be sure to check out our 2 for 10.00 bins and our large selection of quality used DVD’s and Blu-Ray’s.
