What an exciting week it should be, with one of the biggest movies of the year making its debut on DVD and Blu-Ray. It has been compared to the Hangover and features a group of very different ladies preparing for the wedding of their friend. Yes- it’s Bridesmaids and it’s available Tuesday, September 20^th at Crossover Video and Games! Let’s take a look at all of the titles hitting the shelves this week at Crossover;

Bridesmaids: starring Kristen Wiig- Picked as her best friend’s maid of honor, Annie looks to bluff her way through the expensive and bizarre rituals with an oddball group of bridesmaids. (Comedy) (DVD and Blu-Ray)

Set-Up: starring Bruce Willis and Ryan Phillippe- A group of friends become involved in a potentially deadly diamond heist, and when one of the friends turns on the others, it becomes a cat and mouse game of revenge. (Action) (DVD and Blu-Ray)

Spooky Buddies: In a race against the Howlloween Hound, the Buddies and their new friends must stop Warlock the Magician – and save the world! (Family/Kids) (DVD)

Meek’s Cutoff: starring Michelle Williams- Settlers traveling through the Oregon desert in 1845 find themselves stranded in harsh conditions. (Western/Drama) (DVD and Blu-Ray)

Bko Bangkok Knockout: Two Thailand stunt teams are competing for a coveted gig in the USA, but little do they know they are actually on a hidden camera reality show fighting for the entertainment of wealthy businessmen. (Action/Martial Arts) (DVD and Blu-Ray)

Breaking the Press: A Christian faith based movie centering around a high school basketball coach who is trying to get his son to be a team player. (Drama) (DVD)

ChromeSkull 2: starring Thomas Dekker- ChromeSkull has barely escaped death and is now hell-bent on continuing where he left off… and forging a new path of terror and destruction. (Horror) (DVD)

Dry Land: starring America Ferrera and Melissa Leo- A U.S. soldier returning home from war struggles to reconcile his experiences abroad with the life and family he left in Texas. (Drama) (DVD)

Elle A Modern Cinderella Tale: Elle wants to be a singer/songwriter, but her dreams are cut short by the sudden death of her parents. She struggles to retain her interest in music until meeting a famous pop-star who tries to help her get her life back on track. (Family) (DVD)

Good Neighbours: starring Scott Speedman and Jay Baruchel- A man settles into his new apartment and becomes friends with his neighbours. Things soon become edgy as the friends discover that a serial killer is terrorizing their apartment… (Horror/Suspense) (DVD)

The River Murders: starring Ray Liotta and Christian Slater- A homicide detective becomes the prime suspect in a series of murders when the FBI uncovers his close personal ties to all the victims. (Crime/Suspense) (DVD)

FOR THE GAMERS

Gears of War 3: This game promises to be one of the most popular non-sports games of the year and it is available on September 20^th! New to Gears 3 is a four player co-op mode and a fully controllable mech suit called a “Silverback” which can be used in certain parts of the game. Along with the game itself, comes a number of collectible pieces of Gears of War 3 merchandise including: T-Shirts, Baseball Caps, Limited Edition Wireless Controllers and a Limited Edition 320 GB Gears 3 Console!
