Holiday Safety message
During the upcoming long holiday weekend, everyone is reminded to be careful with fire, to be vigilant and report forest fires and to stay clear of forest fire fighting operations. Firefighting aircraft may not see you on the ground near a forest fire, and could inadvertently drop water near you. If you see firefighting aircraft in the area, stay clear. Boaters are also advised to stay clear of water bombers scooping up water from the area lakes and rivers.
