GAMING NIGHT
This past Thursday, we hosted an open gaming night for kids. We had our interactive 360 on and a WII set up for kids to come in and play games of their choice free of charge. Although the turnout was not huge, we found it to be the perfect amount as each child was able to play in fair intervals. The highlight of the event was listening to the laughter as the game “Wipeout” was played on the WII! Look for this event to be bigger and better in next year’s Summerfest.
POTENTIAL NHL GAMING TOURNEY
We are in preliminary talks with another business to co-host a large NHL 12 gaming tournament in late September. The event would be held at two venues with money and other prizes on the line. Anyone from any north shore community could attend! As soon as details are finalized an aggressive ad campaign will begin, and I will report on it in the Crossover Insider.
POPPIN’ AGAIN
After completely selling out of popcorn at last week’s Drive In movie night, we have received a new shipment- meaning the popcorn machine is back up and running. I’m not just saying this- our popcorn is DELICIOUS! Give it a try next time you visit the store!
Have a safe week and don’t forget to support your local businesses!
